On Call Arrangements:

Dr Morrow is usually on call from Monday morning until Friday afternoon for her own patients, and will be contactable and available throughout this period.

There are five other Obstetricians working in Buderim with whom Dr Morrow has cover arrangements. They are Dr George Bogiatzis, Dr James Orford, Dr Kylie Isaacs, Dr Kelvin Larwood, and Dr Nerida Flannery.

There is a formalised weekend roster system so that one doctor is rostered on each weekend to cover all patients. Any periods of annual leave are usually covered by the remaining doctors.

Midweek, Dr Morrow may occassionally require cover from one of her colleagues in response to illness, important family events/ personal reasons, or if very fatigued.

Your Appointment:

You need to bring your Medicare card and Private Health Insurance details to your appointment. To receive a Medicare rebate, a referral is required for your consultation.

Often your GP will send the referral through electronically. However, if your GP has given you a hard copy of the letter, please bring this along. Should you have any blood tests or ultrasound scans prior to seeing Dr Morrow, please ensure your GP has copied Dr Morrow in on the results. We send out sms messages the day prior to your appointment, asking to confirm.

If you are coming for your first antenatal appointment, we will ask you what day and time suits you best and will make all your appointments up to the end of your pregnancy. So if you work on a roster, please bring this along and we can work around you.

There will be times when your appointment will need to be delayed or rescheduled due to Dr Morrow attending emergencies and births. The reception staff will make every effort to keep you informed of any delays, usually by sending you an sms.

Initial consultations can take up to half an hour, and follow ups are usually around 15 minutes.

Fees:

We are not a bulk billing surgery. Our patients are charged for their consultation, which is rebatable through Medicare. Dr Morrow's fees are well below the Australian Medical Association  recommendations. For more information on AMA fees you can consult their website.

For births and surgical procedures, Dr Morrow participates in the No Gap scheme with most private health funds. You will be provided with a quote prior to surgery and it is recommended that you contact your private health fund to check that your health fund will cover you for the procedure.

Parking:

At our Centre, parking can be difficult. For your convenience, a Courtesy Bus runs regularly throughout the day from the Cricket Ground at Syd Lingard Dve, Buderim. Be sure to take the yellow lift to access our rooms.
